My Birthday!

Today I turned 25! Wow, its amazing to me how fast time flies. I still sometimes feel like the 18 year old without a care in the world! I am very lucky to have such great friends who are so thoughtful! Kajsa and Julie took me out for dinner and then went to get cupcakes. I feel so blessed to have such great people in my life! Its nights like tonight when I sit back and look at all that I have been blessed with and how lucky I am to be where I am at in life. I have been trying to write a book about my life and things that I have been through and its been a struggle the last 6 years. I have so much to write about but for some reason it just never came about. I recently decided to work on it and last Sunday night I sat down and wrote 11 pages. After recalling all those memories and circumstances, people, and events, it has made me realize how blessed I am. It took me a while to orient myself with the new lifestyle of being in the church and letting go of old habits and taking on better ones. I look at my life and realize that it very well could have ended up much different. Im glad Heavenly Father knew what He was doing when he was guiding me through my life, because it has brought me to where I am now and it is so much more than anything I could have done on my own. I love this gospel and I love who I am because of it. I am truely blessed beyond measure.

This weekend, as a treat for my birthday, I was able to get away from work and I drove up to spend the weekend with Ty. I didnt tell him I was comming up until I was in the parking lot friday night! I was so excited to spend the weekend with him and just hang out. We didnt do anything really big but just to see him and spend time with him was more than enough. The drive home was terrible because the roads were so bad but I obviously made it back and now its back to the daily grind....work, school, sleep, awake, repeat! :) Its a good time!
