So grateful!

I just finished watching the Worldwide Leadership Training Meeting: Building Up a Righteous Posterity Roundtable Discussion and I just have to say this; I absolutely love each one of them so much. Their insights and personal thoughts have shaped my own opinions and thoughts on the family and how I am to go about raising children. I want so badly to have children and have always loved the idea of being a mother but due to medical reasons, we have had our challenges. We are so in love with the idea and knowledge that we can be parents in this life and are doing all that we can to try and create a family of our own. In the meantime, I have had the privilege to accomplish many things such as personal growth and development in the church and strengthening my own testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. My husband and I both have attended college, and we both have the ability to support the family financially in any give circumstance. We are both to the point now where we feel mature and responsible enough to properly care for children and we are both excited about the opportunity. I have had the opportunity to live in several different places and meet many people who have helped shape my ideas and testimony of the gospel and I am so thankful to them for that. I have had so many wonderful opportunities extended to me over the last 8 years I have been a member of this church. I am grateful that the Lord has prepared me to accept the calling of motherhood and has placed me in the care of a wonderful, loving man who I know will be a wonderful husband and father. This gospel gives me such hope; that in this life, I can have a good happy life where each member of our family can be united for eternity. Every time I have the opportunity to hear from our leadership I am overwhelmed with the feeling that this is absolutely the true church on the earth today. The Lords love is so evident to me in all that I see and learn from the church. The organizations established, the people called to serve, the ordinances and principles given to us are all evidences of God’s love for us. He wants us to not only succeed in this life, but to be happy in our mortal journey. How blessed I feel to be part of the gospel. I loved hearing from them and learned much on how my interactions should be with my husband and future children. To sit and have civilized conversations with the spirit present is so vital to the success of any relationship and organization and by taking the time to prayerfully consider the needs of each member of the family and then discuss them as a family is so special and important. I am just so thankful!
